Hancock Harvest Festival

The 16th Annual Hancock Harvest Festival is set to take place this weekend, providing visitors to Hancock, NY an extra special activity to make their stay memorable.  Sponsored by the Hancock Community Education Foundation, the event helps support the mission to provide educational support from birth to post-graduation and to encourage a greater percentage of students to go on to higher education. The HCEF vision is to achieve 100% graduation and to improve the quality of life and education for Hancock children and families resulting in them becoming successful, contributing community members.

The Upper Delaware Inn is participating in the local business scarecrow competition, with our entry adorning the light post in our front yard. As you travel about Hancock, keep your eyes out for other entries.

Schedule of Events:

Friday

• 9 AM – 4 PM:   Vendors Sale, Various Categories of Goods to the Community & Tourists
• 12 PM – 2 PM  Live Musicians Perform
• 4 PM               Brooks Chicken BBQ (Pre-order: 607-637-5262)

Saturday

• 9 AM-4 PM: Vendors Sale, Various Categories of Goods to the Community & Tourists
• 1 PM:           16th Annual Bob Ray Tractor Parade.
• 2-4 PM:        Live Musician will Perform
• 4:00 PM:      Closing Remarks

Hancock Community Education Foundation 16th Annual Harvest Festival Friday, October 11, 9 am – 4 pm and Saturday, October 12, 9 am – 4 pm.  The Festival includes a large vendor market, a tractor parade, Brooks BQQ Chicken, a scarecrow-making contest, and live music!

My friend and I stayed here for a night during our motorcycle trip. This place is very close to the starting point of NE BDR, although we were not for BDR this time. The staff is very nice, and there was a good surprise for motorcycle riders. The room is surprisingly clean and blight! It looks typical motel from outside, but inside is very nice and clean. I will definitely stay here when we will try NE BDR.

There is a Keurig coffee machine in the laundry room. There is a washer and a dryer. You need quarters to use them.

Could not recommend this place enough!! We found it last minute when our original lodging fell through. Even though it was super late at night, Chloe got us into a room and was so kind! And Lynn the next morning was so helpful and accommodating!! We left our original motel because of bugs and it being dirty, and this place was so much better!! Stayed twice the rooms are amazing Chloebthe young woman at the desk was amazing super helpful and accommodating. However the older lady who works house keeping was rude for no reason. However will definitely stay there over and over again!!

Love this place! Comfy room, AC works great, everything is very clean, cute spot. I love the corn hole setup out front. Really wished we could have stayed longer - staff is SUPER friendly. We came to visit our son who is working nearby at French Woods.
